1.85 mm connector

The 1.85 mm connector dates back to the 80s and was developed by Hewlett Packard. It can transmit frequencies up to 65 GHz and works best in conjunction with the UT-047 and UT-085 high- frequency cables.

The inner diameter of the outer threaded ring is 1.85 mm, while the outer diameter is 4.55 mm, making it compatible with other RF connectors such as the 2.4-mm connector. It is incompatible with the SMA (Subminiature A) connector.

The 1.85 mm connector is also called the V connector by other manufacturers.
