DVD book
The DVD specifications are recorded in Books, which have an alphabetical designation. There are Books A, B, C, D and E.
Book A: DVD-ROM specification for read-only media
Book B: DVD-Video, contains the specifications for video and applications, defines the applications possible as software and the functions integrated in DVD players
BookC: DVD-Audio, contains the specifications for audio and applications, defines the applications possible as software and the functions integrated in DVD drives
Book D: DVD-R, specification for write-once media
Book E: DVD-E, specifications for erasable and rewritable DVD and DVD-RAM, contains the specifications for rewritable media.
