EC7 connector

The EC7 connector is a multimedia connector selected as a strategic product by the International Electrotechnical Commission( IEC). With this connector system, frequencies up to 1 GHz and above can be transmitted via balanced STP cables. This means that analogTV signals in the UHF range can be transmitted as well as high-speed digital data.

The EC7 connector system is characterized by its high bandwidth, its multimedia suitability for the transmission of telephone, data and TV, by defined and reproducible characteristics for all relevant parameters such as Near End Crosstalk( NEXT), Powersum NEXT( PSNEXT), Equal Level Far End Crosstalk ( ELFEXT), PSELFEXT and Return Loss( RL), and by the multiple use of the connector system, which can be used to simultaneously operate up to four services per port.
