EGC network identity (sat com) (ENID)

An extended group call( EGC) is possible with the Inmarsat C service. This group call is transmitted by the land earth station and can only be received by EGC receivers. The EGC receivers in a group are grouped together under the ENID (EGC Network Identity). Each group has its own ENID, so that only the receivers with identical ENIDs can receive the relevant group call.
