G band
The G-band is listed as a frequency band in the NATO designation. It lies between F-band and H-band and covers the frequency range between 4 GHz and 6 GHz.
There is no G band inthe traditional German designation. The frequency range from 4 GHz to 6 GHz is covered by the C band in this nomenclature.
In addition, the frequency range between 140 GHz and 220 GHz is also referred to as G band in the literature. The International Telecommunication Union( ITU) does not include a G band in its nomenclature.
