ISA-SP100

Since its foundation in 2005, the International Federation of the National Standardizing Associations (ISA) has been working on specifications for Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN) in the automation and control environment at field level. The different interests of the ISA members, the high level of ambition in these activities and, last but not least, the already established standards such as WirelessHART and WiBree have so far stood in the way of the standardization of ISA-SP100. Therefore, the ISA has divided the ISA-AP100 concept into classes and formed two subgroups for them.

One subgroup, ISA-SP100.11, deals with the lower classes, which are concerned with control, and ISA-AP100.14 with the higher classes for monitoring.
