ISO 18092

TheISO standard ISO 18092 deals with the transmission standard for near field communication( NFC).

ISO 18092 deals with contactless data transmission over short distances, as used in RFID cards and contactless smart cards. ISO 18092 is suitable for contactless smart cards the size of the ID1 card, but also supports smaller card formats as used in smartphones and notebooks. A protocol based on the standard is the Logical Link Control Protocol( LLCP) for connecting the contactless cards to the RFID reader.
