Internet server API (CGI) (ISAPI)

The InternetServerAPI (ISAPI) is a programming interface developed by Microsoft and supported by their Internet Information Server( IIS), but also by other servers.

The ISAPI programming interface can be used to program client- server applications on an Internet server. ISAPI is used, for example, when data is to be downloaded from the World Wide Web(WWW) and converted using word processing. ISAPI has a high usability and uses a Dynamic Link Library( DLL).
