Java Standard Edition (Java SE) is the standard version for creating, compiling, and running programs in Java. Standard Edition provides the standard platform for rapid development of portable applications for servers and desktops. Java SE forms the Java Development Kits( JDK) and contains extensive libraries, source codes and sample programs that can be used in software development.
