Lavaliere microphone
Lavalier microphones are small condenser microphones or electret microphones that can be plugged in. It is suitable for hands-free talking and is used in film, theater and moderation.
Lavalier microphones work wirelessly as radio microphones with appropriate radio microphone systems. They meet the highest demands and are ideal for speech applications. Their frequency range corresponds to that of professional studio microphones and covers the range from 50 Hz to 18 kHz. The limiting sound pressure of the clip-on microphones is less than 130 dB, with distortion factors of 1% or better.
As radio microphones, lavalier microphones and their wireless systems use the ISM band at 2.4 GHz. An interesting alternative to lavalier microphones are headset microphones.
