Lorentz force

Any electric charge "Q" moving in a magnetic field with velocity (v) experiences a transverse force. This force is the Lorentz force. The Lorentz force (F) is the product of the magnetic flux density (B), the velocity (v) and the charge (Q): F = B x v x Q.
