Network Access Ordinance

The Network Access Ordinance (NZV) was drawn up by the Regulatory Authority RegTP and regulates access to the final subscriber for other subscriber network operators.

The Network Access Ordinance is concerned both with the provision of telecommunications networks and with the necessary facilities and premises. The NZV states under §2: " In this regard, the market-dominant operator shall provide unbundled access to all parts of its telecommunications network, including unbundled access to the subscriber lines."

§3 regulates the use of facilities. It states that "the operator shall fulfill this obligation by accommodating the facilities required for use ... on its premises (physical collocation)...".
