OSGi gateway
The OSGi gateway is the Java-based central component in heterogeneous home networks.
This gateway, also known as home gateway or residential gateway, forms the unified service platform for the various wireless and wired systems and protocols used in home networks, such as HomeRF, Bluetooth, 802.11, WiFi, FireWire, Infrared Data Association( IrDA), and others, and also forms the communication link to the Internet through which the updates of the various control software can be made.
