OptimFrog
OptimFrog is a lossless audio compression that allows audio files to be reduced in size and reproduced without errors.
OptimFrog compression works at a relatively high speed, the encoding and decoding speeds are many times the real-time speed. The specified values range from 12 times to 28 times real-time, depending on the microprocessor. Lossless compression is based on a novel compression method called stereo decorrelation with prediction. Compression rates range from 25%, depending on the music, for soft classical music to 70% for loud rock music.
OptimFrog is available for various audio players under Windows and Linux.
