Plant connection

The system connection is an ISDN connection for private and business telecommunications systems. It consists of one or more network termination units( NTBA), which form the interface between the ISDN network and the telecommunications system. In the case of a network termination, two B channels are available to the user. Of course, single or multiple primary multiplex connections for 30 B-channels and more B-channels are also possible.

The essential feature of a system or extension connection is the telephone numbers. The subscriber receives a call number for the PBX and a two- digit call number block for direct dialing to the extensions. The individual terminal devices such as telephone or fax can be dialed directly via these call numbers.

In the case of larger PBXs, a three-digit number block can also be requested from the RegTP.
