RG-223 cable

Like the RG-214, the RG-223 (2YCCY) high-frequency cable has a double braided shield and is characterized by low interference radiation; however, at 5.4 mm, it is only half as thick as the RG-214.

The inner conductor is a silver-plated copper wire with a diameter of 0.9 mm. The dielectric is polyethylene( PE), around is surrounded by two braided shields. The outer sheath is made of polyvinyl chloride( PVC).

Specifications of RG-223U

Specifications of RG-223U

RG-223 has an impedance of 50 ohms and an operating capacitance of 100 pF/m. The frequency range extends up to 12.4 GHz. Attenuation is 29 dB/100 m at 400 MHz, 50 dB/100 m at 1 GHz, and a maximum of 300 dB/100 m at 12.4 GHz.

RG-223 coaxial cable, which meets MIL specifications, can transmit RF power of 90 W up to 400 MHz, a maximum of 50 W at 1 GHz, and still 8 watts at 12.4 GHz. The RG-223 can be used in transmission and antenna technology.
