TR-104

The TR.104 (TR-104) standard developed by the DSL Forum is a component of TR.69( TR-069) for the provision ofIP-based voice services for Internet telephony.

TR.104 describes the management of IP-based subscriber terminal equipment( CPE). It contains the rules and definitions for configuring a signaling protocol and media. Customer Premises Equipment can be configured to tell the network and service provider what signaling and media services it supports.

TR.104 is targeted at Internet telephony service providers (IVSP) and covers all the signaling and media functions that its subscriber terminals require.
