Tri-Wiring
Tri-wiring is a connection concept of loudspeaker cabinets. Analogous tobi-wiring, tri-wiring has three separate speaker cables: one for the tweeter, a second for the midrange and the third for the woofer. The prerequisite for the connection concept is that the connections of the individual drivers are individually routed to the outside.
The tri-wiring concept differs from bi-wiring in that the tweeter and midrange are not connected together to one cable, but each chassis is connected to its own.
