XML data reduced (XDR)

XML-Data Reduced(XDR) is part of the Extensible Markup Language (XDR). XDR forms a subset of the XML data schema and is considered the predecessor of the Extensible Markup Language (XML). XDR was used to create a connection between the data of a relational database and an XML document in SQL Server.

Since newer SQL servers support XML, XDR can be dispensed with.
