activity stream

The activity stream is about controlling the flow of information in companies and social networks. It is about controlling the information in such a way that the employees in companies or the participants in social networks are allocated or can retrieve only the information that is relevant for them from the information overflow.

Activity streams have a temporal reference and can consist of information and data from people or systems obtained via email, messaging, or from Customer Relationship Management( CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning( ERP), customer engagement identified by the Customer Care Center ( CCC) or Customer Interaction Center( CIC), and used to drive business.

In social networks, the Activity Stream informs the user with the activities of friends, politicians, idols, or company activities. The user can adjust the continuously flowing activity stream according to his requirements and interests, for example, by changing the profile or adding new connections. Activity streams can be blogs, the tweets on Twitter or uploading photos to Flickr.
