ad click rate

The adclick rate is a key figure for the efficiency of online advertising. It indicates what percentage of users who have seen the online advertisement click on it. The ad click rate is therefore the ratio of advertising clicks to the number of ad impressions.

For example, if a banner that 2,000 users have seen is clicked on 100 times, then the ad click rate is 5%.
