aggregated data type
In most programming languages, the programmer can introduce variables and fill them with data at will. These can be composite or elementary data types.
Variables with a compound data type are characterized by the fact that they can hold several values, which in turn have an elementary data type. In this way, complex data structures can be built up in the memory.
