analog display services interface (ADSI)

Analog Display Services Interface (ADSI) is a technology developed by Bellcore with which voice and data, e.g. as video, can be transmitted simultaneously via analogtelephone networks.

Analog Display Services Interface (ADSI) dates back to the 1990s and can superimpose the conversation partner on the display of videophones or on the screen ofpersonalcomputers during the telephone call.

In addition to audio-visual display technology, ADSI supports visual voice mail, mailing lists, visual directories for telephone numbers, mail browsing, and fax services.
