application part (SS7) (AP)

Application Parts(AP) are defined application parts that are part of the SS7 protocol. There is the Mobile Application Part( MAP) for applications in mobile networks such as GSM that have an SS7-compliant network, the Operation and Maintenance Application Part( OMAP) for network management, and Intelligent Network Application Protocol( INAP), the application part for intelligent networks( IN).
