audio distribution amplifier (ADA)
An Audio Distribution Amplifier (ADA) is an LF amplifier with distribution function. ADA distributors have one audio input and multiple outputs.
The number of outputs can range from a few to about 50. The outputs all have the same output signal and can be connected to different audio equipment. Functionally, it is a feedback-free audio signal distribution with amplifier where no output interferes with another.
In audio distributors, the outputs can also have different output impedances and be galvanically isolated from the input. The plug used is the RCA plug commonly used in audio technology.
