audio messaging

Audio messaging is a personalized mobile communications service. With this service, voice messages are sent as push-to-talk. The service is transmitted as an individual call to a selected subscriber or also as a group call to several people.

Audio messaging uses the Multimedia Messaging Service( MMS) infrastructure and has the advantage of personalization instead of impersonal short messaging services or Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS).

The transmission of voice messages is supported by operator menus of the cell phone, which allows editing the voice message before it is sent. The voice message can be received only by MMS-enabled cell phones. These can store the audio message in the cell phone and play it back on demand.
