binary interchange of information and signalling (mobile communications) (BIIS)
Binary Interchange of Information and Signalling (BIIS) is a European trunked radio standard with a defined air interface. It involves digital signaling at 1,200 bit/s and FFSK modulation, Fast Frequency Shift Keying. This protocol is also referred to as BIIS-1200 protocol and has been standardized by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute( ETSI).
