broadband transmission

Wideband transmission is a term defined by the International Telecommunication Union ( ITU) for transmissions with transmission rates of over 2 Mbit/s up to 45 Mbit/s. Defined in ITU Recommendation I.113. Transmissions with speeds up to 2 Mbit/s are referred to as narrowband transmissions.
