bug proof
Interception security is generally understood to mean security against unauthorized eavesdropping by third parties during transmission between end users. This can involve both wireless transmission using radio technology and eavesdropping on wireline transmission via cables or optical fibers.
Eavesdropping affects both data and voice communications, the latter being protected by the secrecy of telecommunications. Various techniques are used to prevent eavesdropping. These range from field strength measurement, optical time domain reflectometry( OTDR) and transmission line attenuation measurement to informationencryption, the most common method against unauthorized interception.
In mobile communications, where the air interface is open, all calls are individually encrypted for this purpose. The encryption algorithm used is a subscriber's own prime algorithm, which is located on the SIM card but cannot be read.
