In computer technology, buttons are control elements of the graphical user interface.

The button can be keys and buttons, activatable terms of a property bar, menu bar or toolbar, activatable menu items in the pull-down and drop-down menus, or graphic icons on or partially activated areas of a graphic, photo or table.
