cache poisoning
Cache poisoning is a technique whereby requesting Internet users are directed to an Internet address from which malware is transmitted.
The purpose of cache poisoning is to infiltrate spyware and spy out websites and access permissions.
Since cache poisoning is often applied in Domain Name Systems( DNS), it is also called DNS cache poisoning. In this method, a valid Internet address is replaced with a spoofed one. User requests are deliberately directed to a manipulated website in order to install spyware or other malware through it.
