caching

  1. Caching is the short-term temporary storage of a copy of current or processed data or files in a cache. Caching is carried out on fast storage media such as RAMs, hard disks or solid-state drives, which can be accessed at short notice and with short access times.
  2. Inonline advertising, web pages can be cached in cache servers so that they are not captured by an ad server and therefore cannot be included in advertising costs. There are therefore various techniques that prevent the browser from caching certain web pages.
  3. Web page caching is the process of creating copies of web pages visited while browsing and caching them in the cache server.
