cell misinsertion rate (ATM) (CMR)

Cell Misinsertion Rate (CMR) is a performance parameter of ATM. Others are the Cell Error Rate( CER), the Cell Lost Ratio( CLR), the Cell Transfer Delay( CTD) and the Cell Delay Variation( CDV).

The Cell Misinsertion Rate (CMR) is the ratio of cells received, but not sent out by the data source, to cells correctly transmitted in an ATM network.
