InBluetooth, the data throughput can be reduced in poor reception conditions and thus adapted to the ambient conditions. This mode of operation, in which the noise level is monitored and used to control the frame length, is called Channel Quality Driven Data Rate (CQDDR). CQDDR operation is particularly interesting for the use of Bluetooth in automotive technology.
