channel separation

The channel spacing is the frequency difference, i.e. the frequency spacing between two adjacent radio channels.

The channel spacing corresponds to the channel grid and depends on the frequency usage and the services. There may also be a safety frequency band between two frequency channels to prevent mutual interference. Duplex channels are referred to as duplex channel spacing.
