charge detail record (automotive) (CDR)
A Charge Detail Record (CDR) is a log used in electric vehicle charging infrastructure for a completed charging process. The CDR record is used for billing the charging process at a charging station.
Charge Detail Records (CDR) are billing-related data transmitted from the Charge Point Operator( CPO) to the E-Mobility Service Provider (eMSP), which settles the billing amount with the e-mobility customer. Billing can take place via the Open Charge Point Interface( OCPI) immediately after the charging process or, if appropriate agreements have been made, after a specified period of time.
