color triangle
A color triangle is the CIE color space arranged in a two-dimensional coordinate system. This color space is standardized according to DIN 5033 and provides a representation of hue and saturation as well as primary colors and mixed colors.
The chromaticity coordinate of a chromaticity coordinate is defined by the coordinates x and y. The term color triangle is also frequently used in other contexts.
