common ISDN access profile (Bluetooth) (CIP)

The Bluetooth profile Common ISDN Access Profile ( CIP) is used to implement the ISDN CAPI interface.

Via this blurtooth profile Common ISDN Access Profile (CIP) all ISDN applications with CAPI interface can be transferred via Bluetooth. The CIP profile supports access to ISDN voice and data services. Compliance with the CIP specifications ensures the interoperability of ISDN services and applications via Bluetooth, so that all ISDN applications can be operated via the CIP profile without modification.

The CIP profile can be used in access points( AP), laptops and cordless phones.
