common Mezzanine card (CMC)
The Common Mezzanine Card(CMC) is a module format for plug-on modules proposed by IEEE.
This technique is used in industrial computers to allow flexible power adaptation to the application.
The CMC module is a plug-on slave card that is fixed in its dimensions (74 mm x 149 mm), connectors and their position. Usually the CMC module uses flat connectors with 64 pins. An IEEE standardized CMC module is the PMC module for the PCI bus.
