CommunityCloud is a concept of cloud computing. In a community cloud, companies or organizations in the same industry join together and form the community cloud from their private clouds, which are then only accessible to the members of the community.
Such clouds are suitable wherever companies or organizations have the same requirements and tasks and aim to share the existing infrastructure.
The advantage of such clouds is the reduction of capacity requirements by sharing resources, reducing overhead and costs, and preparing for the use of other cloud services. In addition to infrastructure, many application programs can be shared among community members.
