constant voltage charging methode
The constant voltage charging method is one of several charging methods for rechargeable batteries. It is a relatively simple method in which the constant charging voltage of the charger is applied to the accumulator via a current limiter. The charging voltage remains constant during the first charging phase of a discharged battery.
As the charge increases, the difference between the charge voltage and the battery voltage decreases, resulting in a reduced charge current.
The charge current becomes zero when there is no voltage difference between the charge voltage and the battery voltage. If the charge voltage from the charger is less than or equal to the final charge voltage of the battery, the battery cannot be overcharged.
