Converter or conversion errors are inaccuracies of A/D converters that are directly related to the A/D conversion.

There are various conversion errors related to the tolerances, nonlinearities, and temperature coefficients of the components. These are the accuracy of the components and their manufacturing, the stability of the reference voltages, the nonlinearities of the characteristics, the differential nonlinearities, and the uncertainties in the least significant bits( LSB).

Besides these inaccuracies, the quantization errors are crucial for the cumulative conversion errors.
