data space transfer protocol (DSTP)

The Data Space Transfer Protocol (DSTP) is a protocol for indexing and retrieving data in various databases.

In the context of the DSTP protocol, the term Data Space indicates that the data is distributed on several servers of a network. This data is entered in rows and columns in a database structure and can be transferred from one server to another using the Data Space Transfer Protocol (DSTP).

The DSTP servers can index and retrieve the associated data. They use the Universal Correlation Key (UCK) for this purpose. DSTP uses the Extensible Markup Language(XML). For existing databases, an XML file is created in which the UCK key describes corresponding database columns.
