descrambler (DSCR)

A descrambler is a software or hardware component with which scrambled signals of the scrambler are returned to their original form.

The descrambler causes the inversion of the pseudo-random number of the scrambler. In terms of function, the signal is fed to a shift register where the outputs of individual stages are logically linked.
