device relationship management (DRM)

Device Relationship Management (DRM) is remote maintenance via the Internet. With such a program, the functionality of intelligent end devices can be monitored, managed, configured and maintained.

DRM management applies equally to all intelligent end devices, i.e. those equipped with microprocessors: machines, instruments, communication devices and computers. DRM management interacts with the intelligent end devices and continuously exchanges data and status messages between the Operation and Maintenance Center( OMC) and the end device. The DRM concept is a broader concept that provides detailed diagnostics and statistics to the maintenance center.
