digital temperature compensated crystal oscillator (DTCXO)

Unlike an analog controlled temperature compensated crystal oscillator, Digital Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillators(DTCXO) operate digitally.

DTCXOs use a digitized voltage to readjust frequency accuracy and stability. The operating range for DTCXOs is at temperatures between -30 °C and +85 °C. In this temperature range they have a frequency stability which is `10^-7`. Aging is `0.5*10^-6` per year. DTCXOs are offered in the frequency range between 1 MHz and about 50 MHz.
