The color depth of color representations differs in its resolution.
Depending on the color resolution, a distinction is made between color representation with a high number of colors, high color, direct color, true color, and deep color, color representation with the highest color depth.
With Direct Color, color depths of 262,144 and 2,097,152 color shades can be displayed. This color resolution of 18 or 21 bits can be used for demanding computer graphics. The next higher color mode with 24 bits is True Color.
