directory system protocol (X.500) (DSP)

Directory System Protocol(DSP) is an X.500 protocol used by Directory System Agents(DSAs) to communicate with other DSAs. The DSP protocol is used to transmit directory information. The transmission is initiated by authenticating the servers with the DOP protocol, the Directory Operational Binding Management Protocol.
