embedded SIM (eSIM)

The eSIM card is an embedded SIM card that, unlike the classic SIM card, cannot be replaced and is assigned to the corresponding smartphone or cell phone.

The advantage of the eSIM card is that the card can be topped up with the cheapest mobile provider after the contract expires. Whereby it can be assumed that the providers no longer work with cell phone contracts. When using the card abroad, you can save on roaming charges and have the eSIM card activated with a low-cost provider. The same applies to Internet portals. Since the cell phone and the eSIM card are fixed components, the cell phone providers will offer cell phones with integrated eSIM cards.

With the eSIM card, customers have greater freedom of choice and flexibility and are no longer contractually bound.
