emergency location immediate service (ELIS)

Emergency Location Immediate Service (ELIS) is a service of the MLP protocol (Mobile Location Protocol) for Location Services ( LCS). With the ELIS service, the user position is communicated to the client on request in an emergency. This MLP service concerns the position information for an emergency call, which can be handled and forwarded differently on the receiving side.
